The steps

Five steps, no surprises.

Every project runs the same way, whichever package you choose. Here’s what happens at each step, what you get from it, and what I’ll need from you.

  1. A free 30-minute call.

We talk about your business, your customers and what the site needs to do. No charge, no obligation.

    What you get
A clear picture of what I’d build and roughly what it would cost.
    What I need from you
Half an hour of your time, and your current website if you have one.
  2. A real mockup before you sign.

You see a real mockup of your new homepage before you commit to anything.

    What you get
Your homepage, designed for your business, to judge the work itself.
    What I need from you
Your logo, a few photos and anything you’d like me to read about your business.
  3. A fixed-fee proposal.

Every line item and the total, in writing, signed before work starts. The price doesn’t creep.

    What you get
One fixed price and a timeline, in writing.
    What I need from you
    Your go-ahead and a signature.
  4. Build and launch.

Typically 2–3 weeks for Essentials, 4–6 for Professional, and 8 or more for Custom.

    What you get
Your site, built and launched on hosting in your name.
    What I need from you
Your content and quick answers to questions along the way.
  5. Handover.

The code moves to a Git repository you own. The domain and hosting are in your name. No lock-in.

    What you get
The keys to everything: code, domain, hosting and logins.
    What I need from you
Accounts in your name for the domain and hosting (I’ll walk you through it).

What you get

Four promises you can check.

Every web studio says “fast” and “easy to find.” Here’s what I actually do, and how to check it without taking my word for it.

  • Fast on a phone

    What I do

Pages are built ahead of time and served from a global network close to your visitors, with images sized for each screen. No page builders and no pile of plugins.

    How you can check

Look at the load time at the bottom of this page, measured in your own browser. Or run any site through Google’s free PageSpeed Insights.

    Open PageSpeed Insights

  • Easy to find

    What I do

Local SEO from day one: a clear title and description on every page, your business details in the format search engines read, a sitemap, and pages written the way people here search.

    How you can check

After launch, search your business name and your town. You can also view the page source and see your business details yourself.

  • Easy to update

    What I do

Professional and Custom sites come with a content editor (Sanity or Payload), so you can change text, photos, menus and hours without me.

    How you can check

You get your own login at launch. Change something and watch it go live.

  • Yours to keep

    What I do

The code lives in a Git repository that’s transferred to you at launch. Your domain and hosting are in your name. No lock-in, and no website-builder subscription.

    How you can check

It’s written into the contract, and the repository is in your account at launch.

AI-native

What “AI-native” means for you.

I build with modern AI coding assistants from the first day of every project. Here’s what that changes for you:

  • More of your budget goes into the site itself, not into billable hours.
  • Changes turn around quickly.
  • Standard, modern code (Next.js, React, TypeScript) that any developer can pick up. Nothing proprietary.
  • A person makes every call: what your customers need to see, what to leave out, and what ships. That person is me.

What AI does

  • Drafts and checks code quickly
  • Explores more layout and wording options than I could by hand
  • Catches mistakes early with automated checks

What I do

  • Decide what goes on the page and what stays off it
  • Make sure every fact on your site is true
  • Design how it looks and feels
  • Review everything before it ships, and answer the phone

Building first

Sometimes I build first.

If I think I can help a local business, I’ll sometimes build a working demo of its homepage before I ever get in touch. Every fact comes from the business’s own website and materials. Anything I couldn’t verify goes on a list for the owner to confirm. The preview is never linked from this site and stays out of search results until the owner says go. If they’re not interested, it stays that way.

Handover

What you get at handover.

On launch day, everything below is in your name:

  • Git repository in your name
  • Domain in your name
  • Hosting account in your name
  • Logins for your content editor (Professional and Custom)

Support

After launch.

30 days of support with Essentials, 90 days with Professional, and 12 months of priority support with Custom. Care plans start at $199 a month.

Ongoing costs, line by line

Website emergency

If something breaks.

The emergency line pages my phone, whatever the hour. It’s for real outages:

  • Your website is completely down
  • Checkout or payments are broken right now
  • Customer data may be exposed
  • There’s an active security incident

If I haven’t called you back within 15 minutes, call (860) 510-8692.

Start with step one.

Thirty minutes, no charge. Bring your current site if you have one.
